5. Personal data protection policy

Personal data collected on the Site are used to communicate with the User and to generate traffic statistics. No other personal data are processed when the User browses the site or searches the database.

Processing of personal data is based on the consent of the User when she/he communicates with the Publisher, including through the contact form, and on the legitimate interest of the Publisher to establish traffic statistics.

User identification data collected through the contact form are limited to her/his name, first name and/or pseudonym, as well as his/her email address. These data are maintained in an active form only for the duration of the exchange with the User, then the exchanged messages are archived.

Data transmitted as part of the audience measurement (statistics) are limited to the User’s IP address, from which her/his origin is inferred, the operating system and browser used to access the Site, pages and files browsed, duration of the visit, addresses of the referring sites and keywords used in referring search engines. These data, stored on the server and protected by a password, are deleted after a year.

No cookies are stored on the User’s computer when he/she’s visiting the Site. Third-party cookies can be saved when the User clicks on one of the social media sharing buttons. She/he then leaves the site (pop-up window) and it is up to him/her to read the data protection policy of the page she/he visits.

A User has the right to access, correct, or delete his/her personal data. She/he also has the right to withdraw his/her consent to the processing of her/his personal data at any time. He/she shall exercise these rights by sending a written request to the Publisher through the contact form.

The Site, established on 1st September 2017, is published under the responsibility of Louis-Philippe Gratton.
